good thing Iran didn't make this mistake.

this is from the BBC:

"The US Air Force has launched an investigation after a B-52 bomber flew across the US last week mistakenly loaded with nuclear-armed missiles.
It follows reports in the Army Times that five missiles were unaccounted for during the three-hour flight from North Dakota to Louisiana.

The air force said the cruise missiles were safe at all times.

Army Times said the missiles were to be decommissioned but were mistakenly mounted on the bomber's wings.

The W80-1 warhead has a yield of five to 150 kilotons, the paper said."

haha, nice move. could you imagine if Iran or North Korea made this mistake. I'm sure we'd just smile and say, "don't let it happen again." Ridiculous.

Here's the whole story: http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/americas/6980204.stm

crazy isn't it..i saw a brief description of the incident on the world news..they described it as a "grave error." wow..just think how many "errors" occur without our & the mass media's awareness. with the anniversary of 9/11 next week & my best friend's husband being shipped off to iraq this past week..i think of how our resources are being stripped to battle an external/foreign war at the cost of internal safeguarding. when will we wake up?

Well, you should have been in Antelope, CA when the trains rolled through with propane and bombs and caught fire. I was clear out on Arden way instead of home in Citrus Heights and I could feel them there. Not sure why, but it's what AJ's comment made me think of.

Crazy.

I was thinking about what you posted this morning. I think if North Korea did this, it wouldn't be a mistake. Scary...
