I thought the statement was rather profound, but then I got really silly and thought, "GO put on some clothes." Sorry.. it's time for sleep. My mind works rather strangely when I'm sleep deprived.
Did you finish the book yet? Maybe I will try and tackle it someday. I'd love to hear your thoughts on it when you are finished.

after all the evacuations & walking through these fires here in san diego this past week, the Dotoyevsky quote you posted here takes on a whole new meaning...amidst all the devastation, the depth of love & compassion from neighbor to neighbor has clothed us all in humility & hope...
