Whenever I don't have anything to say, I just find interesting quotes from the book I am currently reading. So here.

Those are all from "The Myth of Sisyphus", the book I'm reading now. I think it mainly focuses on the disconnect between what the objective world has to offer (essentially nothing in terms of a meaningful existence which offers itself to be "understood"), and a human's desire to find more meaning and purpose (irrationally, spiritually, etc) in life than what there is...nothing.

I rather like the first one and think it has tons of merit.
I am always searching for good citations. I just found one in an occupational health flyer from work, of all places.

It's a great citation, although not sure it's entirely true... sometimes I can think of nothing but the need to change myself. Still, a lot of people want to affect the world, but sometimes you have to start with oneself.
I'm not sure that really correlates with your citations - but there ya have it anyway. ;)

so this has nothing to do with your post.
but i was wondering, about that entry that you wrote about your lady friend who was your best friend from high school and in college and everything... was it ever too hard? were you BEST friends? and then, did you realize that you couldn't? were you like too emotionally involved with each other without even realizing it to a point that it was unhealthy?
yeah. just wondering, because that's kind of what i'm going through, yes, it is what i'm going through right now..and i haven't/don't know anybody else who has had anything like it.. :]
