Global warming.

Global warming is making my, and many others, life miserable. People need to stop buying Hummers and Escalades and get on board with the hybrids, let's go people, it'll help bring the temprature down so my kids (when I have them) won't have to stay in doors all day. The first few shows of the tour have been great, and the turn outs have been suprisingly well, so I want to take the time to thank those of you who came. Since I've been gone, I have started to try and read Atlas Shrugged, I'm a huge Ayn Rand fan, and I started reading Atlas Shrugged when I was in College or something, but I stopped and never finished it, so, I'm gonna try again. She has a wonderfully descriptive way of writing, and although I think her idea of individualism and humanism is a tad skewed, I think she points out many truths concerning human nature. It's a hard read, wish me luck.

Atlas Shrugged sounds like an interesting book, but I've never gotten around to reading it. I did read Anthem in high school though and it sparked my interest in Ayn Rand - it's a great book. Have you read it?

Zach! I am totally in the middle of reading this book right now too. I am just about half way through, but so far its amazing!

And so far, much better than The Fountainhead and Anthem, and thats saying a lot because those were great books.

I agree with you, Ayn Rand's writing is excellent, but I do disagree with her on some points, I think maybe she takes it a little bit to the extreme. But nonetheless I love all her books.

And once you get into Atlas Shrugged, its really not so difficult.

As for global warming, I am feeling it with the 90 degree temperatures daily. Hummers are obnoxious and hopefully soon the trend will end.

global warming is definitely becoming a more serious issue each year, let alone day. hopefully our political leaders will be doing something in the very near future to institute better forms of preservation.
